Linus Loeliger On Course For $1.5M WCOOP Main Event Prize
The 2021 World Championship Of Online Poker (WCOOP) is hurtling towards its grand finale and everyone is super excited to see which PokerStars player becomes the $5,200 NLHE Main Event champion. Whoever that champion turns out to be, they will pad their bankroll with $1,499,942.
Linus "LLinusLLove" Loeliger is the man in pole position when it comes to getting hands on that mammoth-sized prize. The talented Swiss star holds the chip lead with only 72 players remaining in the tournament.

Linus Loeliger Leads 72 Players into Day 3 of WCOOP 91-H: $5,200 NLHE Main Event
Switzerland’s Linus "LLinusLLove" Loeliger emerged from a wild Day 2 as the chip leader of WCOOP 91-H: $5,200 NLHE [8-Max, NLHE Main Event]. Loeliger leads the 72 players that remain from a field of 1,965 entries in this climactic tournament of the World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP). There was a small overlay for the guaranteed prize pool of $10,000,000 that will pay the champion $1,499,942.
Loeliger battled in and out of the top ten before a crucial point late in Day 2 when he found aces to double up over 20 million. Loeliger has over three million more chips than “Körrinho” in second and tops a list of 16 players with over 10 million in chips. Other notable Day 3 players include Tyler "Juicy_J_93" Jardine, Luiz "G1a1u1s1s" Arruda, and Laszlo "Lackoo87gcb" Molnar.

Day 3 kicks off on Tuesday September 14 at 7:05 p.m. CET. Blinds will start in Level 31 at 70,000/140,000 with a 17,500 ante. Day 3 play continues until there only the eight-handed final table remains. That final table is scheduled for Wednesday, September 15.

Andras "probirs" Nemeth Seeking Third Title in WCOOP-92-H: $10,300 PLO [6-Max, PLO Main Event]
Andras "probirs" Nemeth of Hungary is searching for his third World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP) in the WCOOP-92-H: $10,300 PLO [6-Max, PLO Main Event] after finishing Day 2 as chip leader. Nemeth, who most recently took down the 2020 $5,200 PLO 6-Max, High Roller for $140,506, joins six other players who survived over six hours of play on Day 2 to make it to the final table.
The tournament attracted 147 runners, smashing the million-dollar guarantee with a prize pool of $1.5 million. A large portion of the prize pool, $308,556, will go to the first-place winner, while second place will earn $237,169 and third place will earn $182,298.
Other players who survived Day 2 include Ami "UhhMee" Barer of Canada and Ola "Odd_Oddsen" Amundsgard of Norway, as well as Ukraine's "plspaythxbye" and "Ben_Apart" of the United Kingdom.
