Action begins at The Commerce Casino in Las Angeles for the $1,200 Main Event. The Commerce Hold’em Series concludes with the main event taking in place from September 17th-September 22rd. There will be five Day 1 flights, and Day 2 will take place on September 22nd. Action will begin today at 12 p.m. local time.

The players will start with 40,000 chips at the 100/200 blind levels. There will be 40-minute blind levels, until the final table where they will play 60-minute blind levels. Players will have a 15-minute break after every three levels of play. This event has unlimited rebuys, with registration for this event concluding after the start of Level 10, and Day 1 flights ending after the players make the money. 1 out of 10 players will make the money. Players may play multiple Day 1 flights after bagging to improve their Day 2 stack. Any player who bags in multiple flights will have their smaller stack taken out of play, and receive a min cash for their smaller stack.
This event features a $300,000 guarantee, with the winner of last years Main Event at during the Commerce Hold’em Series being Richard Hasnip, taking home $80,480.

Fiorenti then check-called a bet of 500 from Nelson, after the A♥4♥7♠ flop.
Both players checked to showdown after the 6♣ turn, and 3♣ river.
Fiorenti tabled J♣7♦ for a pair of sevens, which was good to take the pot as Nelson mucked his hand.

Sohale Khalili opened the action with a raise to 600 from the hijack, and was called by the player on the button. Then Marc Fiorenti three-bet to 2,600 from the small. Khalili then four-bet to 7,600, which got the button to fold, and Fiorenti made the call.
The flop came 7♠2♣9♥ and Fiorenti check-called a bet of 4,500 from Khalili.
Both players checked after the 4♦ turn and 5♠ river.

After the flop Sarah Cruce in the small blind, and the big blind Sam Weiss checked to Fred Lavassa who bet out 500. Both Cruce and Weiss made the call to see a turn.
After the A♥ on the turn, all three players checked to the A♠ river. Cruce led out for a bet of 500, which was called by Weiss. Then Lavassa raised to 5,000, which was quickly called by Cruce, and got Weiss to muck his hand.
Lavassa tabled A♦10♠ for a full house aces full of tens, as Cruce tossed K♠J♥ for a Broadway straight in the muck, giving Lavassa the pot.

Action folded to Artashe Kartaly who limped in from the cutoff, before Marc Fiorenti raised to 1,200 on the button. After the blinds folded, Kartaly made the call to see a flop.
